Wow!! I'm bacK!! & New DT Call

Well it has been a long hard 4m, and now I can't wait to get back some time for me! As you have seen I had some family pass and some other issue the last few months.. but I have thought and thought about this and if for nothing else a stress reliever I am back into crafting and designing! I would first like to say Thank you to my Team member for sticking this out with me! Love you all!! I have MANY new designs coming out this month so, we would like to add a few more to our team this month. So we are having an open call:

We are looking for super crafty people that use cutter files, that love to post to forums, yahoo groups, on your blog, youtube, facebook ect. Any where else you like and willing to post on my CT blog. And help me with new file ideas. If you need a file for some thing, Let me know. I'm always looking for new ideas. The only requirement for posting to blogs is to the FileKutz Team Blog and to your own blog.. if you do not have one, We can help!!

Love and Miss You

Sorry, I have been MIA the last few weeks, I have had a very sad 10 days, and I am going to need some time for myself and family.. 1st my dads had to have heart surgery which was a bit scary qnd I went to WV for that, but then he started doing well within a couple of days and right now health wise doing VERY well,.. a few days after I got there I got a phone call my grandma was taken to the hospital, then on Oct. 24th my grandma passed away due to a split/torn aorta.. I came home Thursday for my Grandmother's funeral Friday and then Friday night I got a phone call from my dad, that my step mom had been admitting in the hospital, this is a very long story and right now I just can't go into it, it is a little much for me to handle as I had just spent a whole week with her and had no idea....., so back to WV I went, her brain had been damaged to far for recovery. She was on life support up until early Wed Nov 1st, around 2:30am, and passed away a little before 3am, My dad will be moving in with me here in the next 2/3 weeks sometime after he takes care of his affairs and hers, and I will be going back and forth from home and WV... So I will be extremely busy, and I am just a bit overwhelmed with all of the events taking place around me, but my FileKutz is and always has been a release for me, but I can't say how much or when I will be online.. Some of the DT ladies will still hold challenges and I will send them as I can.. but please don't expect to much from me for a few weeks. I will not be keeping up with the forum, or all of the blogs right now.. as much as I usually do, and that will be it for awhile, unless I get a chance or just need a escape. My DT Ladies are WODERFUL, they will be keeping up with this blog and the forum and may run a challenge on the Challenge Blog, so please thank them and post lovely comments on their blog's for being such Angel's!!

Christmas Tear Bear

Good morning and welcome to another project using LisaJane's files. I have to tell you that I am just thrilled beyond means to be on this DT. I have never come across any easier files to put together than Filekutz. This card literally (with cutting) took me about 15 minutes to put together and I just love it.

Isn't she cute? The cut is from Filekutz and you can find it here. LisaJane's files are so easy to put together and since I also love bears (almost as much as elephants) I cannot wait to get the whole set for the holidays. Since I am on the Design Team at filekutz I get to show you lots of things and using LisaJane's files is a treat in itself for me. I've had a few ideas running through my head and hopefully I can have this idea transfer to a project for you soon. I added a Peacky Keen face to the bear and then some bling to her shoes and her Christmas hat. I cut out the package that was on the background paper and popdotted to her. A simple tag to complete the card and you can have it done in a matter of minutes.

A Special DT Member in My Heart

I would like to take a minute to tell you about a special person to me, Kelly S she was one of my 1st DT members and has been with me for almost 2 years, I learned today that she lost her 38 year old husband, of 19 years, Keith on Oct 5th 2011.

Please give her support in her time of need, she is a very active person in the craft world as I am sure a lot of you know.

Kelly has been by me through everything since I started my DT Team, she was actually the 1st to sign on with me and she has supported me in bad and good times, she is a WONDERFUL card maker and I could not ask for a better Team member than Kelly, so Kelly if you do read this in the future, my heart and prayers are with you and Alex and I pray you get through this tough time with much support and the least heartache as possibale and know you are in my thoughts, Thank you for everything you have done for me and this DT Team.

I am sharing a Halloween card Kelly has done for me, with you today, to show you how crafty this wonderful women is.

Here is what she had to say about her card: She posted this on her blog on Oct 3rd.

This is a square 5x5 card, rather than my usual 5x7 card. It is based on a sketch provided by Creative Craft Challenges. The background paper is Green Crepe Ruche paper from the Paper Temptress. I love the texture of this paper! The patterned papers are from K & Company (the glittery orange swirls) and Cloud 9 Design (black swirly paper and orange paper with swirls). The Halloween ribbon is from Walmart. The cute little bats are from Filekutz by LisaJane Halloween Cutie faces, I used orange Stickles for their noses and added googly eyes. The smiles were drawn in with my white Sakura Gelly Roll pen. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs (Fall-O-Ween Stamp Set). Orange rhinestones and buttons were added to finish the card.

Garden Rose Tutorial (Flower Petal Blossoms New File)

Here is your 1st Tutorial for the New File

"Flower Petal Blossoms"

BY: Brenda B

Garden Rose

You will need 12 large pears cut at 1 x 1.375

and 10 small pears cut at .7 x 1

a snowflake 2 x 1.7 (from FileKutz Snowflake Collection 1)

and two leaves 2.25 x 2.45

Ink all the edges front and back

the snowflake doesn't matter too

much since you will not see it

cut the largest petal from the leaves off

I used the round top from my exacto knife to

manipulate the petals and soften the paper.

Rub the paper in a circular motion

use your paper piercer to fold around in the middle

and then fold each side backwards

gives you this

Use your exacto knife again to manipulate the paper

of the snowflake also in a circular motion

You will end up with a cup of sort

again, manipulate the leaves

I use my embossing roller to create stems

and veins

I use hot glue (my preference) but you can use

any quick dry glue to attach the petals to

the snowflake cup

add to each of the 6 points of the snowflake

in a layered pattern

1st layer completed

now start with the 2nd layer and offset the

petals using the rest of the 6 large pear petals

finished 2nd layer

now start with the next 8 small pears and layer

them on top of the larger pears

keep going around until they are all used up

you should have 2 small pears left

wrap them around your paper piercer

pretty tightly

gives you this

insert one petal into the other one

snip a bit off the end depending how deep you

want your middle to be...

hot glue into the center of the flower

squish...don't be shy, the hot glue holds

it together firmly, but you need to manipulate

the flower to your liking

I squished from both sides

then cup the flower in your hand

and squish again until you like

the fullness

add a bit of hot glue to the stem of the leaves

and here is your 3d rose

"Black Rose"

FileKutz’s "Flower Petal Blossoms" is a must have file for everyone, you can purchase it for $1.99 at FileKutz Design's Shop. Included in the file are many petals, stems and leaves to mix and match and make many different types of flowers. I wanted to show you how easy it is to create a rose with part of the file.

I took the “heart” shaped petals and cut the whole group four times which will create one rose. I chose several different leaves to cut out so that I can play with them and see which one I like the best for my project.

I then used my piercer to punch a hole in the bottom of each heart shaped petal. And then using a brad, I layered the petals on it starting first with the smallest set to the largest set.

When you are done, it will look like this, I know, not much of a rose at this point, but stick with me here!!

I then started scrunching up the petals starting in the middle………

……and keep going until you have scrunched each petal. I know, still not looking like a rose but trust me, it will.

Then you take any skinny round tool you have like your piercer, a thin pencil or stick (I used a wooden skewer) and starting on the outside petals, roll each petal around the tool……….like pictured below.

Leave a couple petals scrunched in the middle to create the rose center. You see, it has started to look like a rose now.

I then added black diamond stickles to my rose and a couple of red “splatters” so I can use it for a new project coming up……stay tuned to the FILEKUTZ’s blogs or forums to see what the black rose has transformed into and how it will be used. Pansy Flower Tutorial (Flower Blossoms New File)

Here is the 3rd tutorial using the New File

"Flowers Petal Blossoms" from FileKutz

"Pansy Flower"

You will need a circle approximately 1 inch

3 large hearts cut at 1.2 x 1.27

2 small heart cut at 1.07 x 1.003

this totally depends on your finished flower

I inked all the edges and a bit in the

bottom center with blue

This just needs to be done to the front

as these will be glued to a card front

or a scrapbook page and you

will not see the backside

Then I inked the bottom center again with purple

I snipped just a tiny bit off of the bottom of

every petal (heart)

Using my zig glue pen I added a few "streakes"

to 2 of the petals

and added some glitter. This totally depends

on how fancy you want to get.

I manipulated ONLY the top of the petals

using my exacto knife rounded top

going in a circular motion

Then I shaped the petals in an outward motion

with my paper piercer

this is what the petals will look like. The glittered petals

not do need to be manipulated as much.

Then I added a bit of score tape to the backside

of each petal towards the bottom.

This is what you will have

and started placing the glittered

flowers first side by side

add your 2 smaller heart on each side of them

and then the last larger petal in the middle of them

I used my fine point black sharpie to add some

lines inside the middle of each petal

and topped it off with a rhinestone

Framed Paper

Good morning
Today I want to show you a quick and easy way to make a frame out of cardstock using a file from LisaJane. Since I've become a member of the DT I am loving all the crafty projects I've come up with for her using her files.

The frame measures 6 x 6

I got this using some pretty heavy

cardstock with my E-Craft

Isn't the detail marvelous?

I added scoretape to 3 sides of the frame

and adhered it the the same colored

cardstock as my backing

Then I cut a piece of the same cardstock

at 5 x 5. This will be your frame stand.

I scored it point to point and added

scoretape to half of the stand

then adhered it to the backside of the frame.

I colored the flowers and leaves with

some colored pencils to give it just

the right amount of coloring.

Since I wanted to use this black and white

photo of my kids when they were little

I didn't want the coloring to be overpowering

Snow Adorable

Good Morning and welcome to another card I made for LisaJane and the DT using file Lk00084 SnowBabies 1st Christmas. I am just so thrilled to be using these files because they are super easy to cut and put together. This card took me probably 20 minutes tops. I just love how this card turned out...I haven't made a long card in a long time but these two babies were just so adorable and I didn't want to lose any detail on them so here goes:

the card measures 7" x 4.25"

The SVG file is from LisaJane's Filekutz and since

I've become a DT member here I can't get enough

of her files, they are so easy to cut and assemble.

I added the ends of cotton swabs for the pompoms

and then highlighted around her dress with my new

found love for the Gelly Roll glitter pen. Of course

I used Peachy Keen face stamps.

I cut all the pieces with my E-Craft and the tag also came

with my E-Craft software. I inked around the outside with blue,

and distressed the inside a bit with pink and used a

stamp from WinterPunnies. The snowflakes

were from my SCAL 3 Winter collection and cut with glitter paper.

Now I hope I've inspired you to make a Winter card because before you know it, you may need one ... it's getting chillier here everyday and I am not looking forward to that four letter word. (hehehehe)

Photo Holder with Harley Tear Bears

Good morning and Happy Labor Day,

Here is project I did with LisaJane's files for the DT are simply fabulous and very easy to put together. This week I chose the Tanny Harley Girl Tear Bear and the Harley Tear Bear and if you click on the links it will take you directly to the store where you can purchase them. They come in all the formats for every kind of cutting machine, but they also comes in a pdf file for you to hand cut if you do not own a cutting machine. Now, I have to say these were one of the EASIEST cuts for using the E-Craft and definitely easier to put together. I am so thrilled how well the project worked out, so here we go:

I started out with some over sized clothes pins that I

got at Michael's in the dollar bin and painted them black.

I added the Harley Girl Bear to the front of

the clothespin with some red tacky tape.

Here is a side view. Make sure you attache your

cut to the clothespin upside down if that makes

sense to you, because you want to use it as

photo holder or in my case...

A gift card holder.

I added the Harley Boy Bear to the front of

the clothespin with some red tacky tape also.

I even had some scraps of jean paper in my stash.

Isn't he just adorable also?

Don't they make an awesome pair?

I am giving these as gifts to one of my very good friends,

both her and her husband own Harleys and I think

these will be cherished forever...

I hope you will continue to come back and

I can't believe it is September and I've done my first layout of our travels in 2011 - Talk about way, way behind!!!

When I saw this file created by LisaJane, I knew I had to skip ahead and scrap this photo of the Bodie Lighthouse. Although I normally scrap in sequential order, this file just screamed, make an exception!!

TECHNIQUE TIP: This wonderful file from LisaJane at Filekutz matched the photo of me in front of the Bodie lighthouse so well, that I knew that I just had to use it. I wanted a fairly simple layout in terms of patterned paper but wanted to recreate the comotion that is always found near the seashore with breaking waves and lots of birds. I decided to cut out several extra birds and waves from the cut file and re-create a seashore on this page. A little glitter and diamond glaze to mimic the water and a little round gem to mimic the light in the lighthouse and I was all set.

Summer Crab Card

Today I have a cute summer-themed card to share. It features an adorable cutter file by FileKutz. For the background, I used blue and brown cardstock from my stash. On the blue paper, I used my Connect the Dots embossing folder. The brown paper was embossed with Spots & Dots and then I used a stipple brush to add some Walnut Distress Ink for depth. I also used my Scor-Pal on the blue cardstock to create a couple of dividing lines between the blue and brown paper. The face on the sun is a Peachy Keen stamp (Wide Eyed Kids set). The adorable little crab is a file from FileKutz by LisaJane (lk00045). I adhered the pincers with foam squares for dimension and added some googly eyes. I think he has to be the cutest crab I've ever seen! The sentiments on the card are from K Andrew Designs. For the final touch, I added a few rhinestones in between the two sentiments.

Flourish Frame

Good morning,
I just wanted to introduce myself and thank LisaJane for adding me to her wonderful DT. My name is Brenda and you can find me at Creativity is a State of Mind. I am a mom to 2 grown children and an 11 year old at home. I also have two grandchildren and one on the way in March; my grandson lives in Hawaii (gotta love SKYPE) and my granddaughter here in town. I have been scrapbooking and card making for about 15 years. I am very interested in many different mediums. My crafts exist of but not limited to scrapbooking, card making, wedding favors, centerpieces, floral arranging, vinyl homedecor, glass etching, paperclay creations (mainly for scrapbooking and card making) and jewelry making. I dabble in a few more crafty things but I think my list is long enough. I am addicted to using my Cricut, Gypsy, and Cuddlebug, and I have recently added the E-craft to my room and love it. SCAL3 is one of my best friends right now. I would love to learn a bit more about Inkscape, but that will come in time I am sure.

I am so excited to be here with you and I hope I can inspire you to create something today. As you know LisaJane has some awesome, awesome cut files and I am so excited to share my first card with you. Joining Filekutz Designs is enable me to share some more creations with you and maybe inspire you a bit also.

Now here is the card I created for my first DT submission...I hope you like it as much as I do. I cut everything on my E-Craft and am very pleased with how the scroll came out.

Happy Birthday Cupcake Card

I just realized I never posted this card I made. I sent this to my sister-in-law, who celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago. The background paper is from the Paper Studio (Sprinkles) that I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. It was just too cute to pass up. The Happy Birthday title with cupcake is from FileKutz by LisaJane. I cut it from pink vinyl (mainly because I didn't have the right color paper). The cherry has Pink Stickles added to it and the cupcake itself has Frosted Lace Stickles. I then added some pink rhinestones (from Creative Charms) for sprinkles. There is also some pink ribbon from American Crafts and some pen stitching around the title block.

I think it turned out pretty well. LisaJane's file coordinated perfectly with my paper. What do you think?

Baseball Tear Bear Birthday Card

Last week my twin nephews celebrated their 6th birthday. Today I am sharing one of the cards I made. I asked my Sister-in-Law to tell me the boys' favorite colors and hobbies so I could personalize the cards to suit each of them. Ian's favorite colors are green and orange and he likes baseball. So I used this super cute Baseball Tear Bear file from Filekutz by LisaJane. There is some pen detail added to the baseball, the bear's face and his clothes. Green Stickles were added to the star on the uniform. At the top of the card, I added a pennant border with Ian's name, which I made from a birthday hat in LisaJane's Birthday Page Kit 1 file. I just turned the hats upside down and removed a few of the decorations. Instant pennant flags. More green Stickles were added to the letters and the tops of the pennants. And what is a birthday without a treat, right? So I added a cupcake for the birthday bear (I mean boy . . . LOL). The cupcake is also from a FileKutz file (Birthday Mesh). Lots of Stickles (red, orange, and icicle) were added to the cupcake as well. I like a lot of sparkle but I didn't want to add too much bling since this is for a 6-year-old boy. :-) I am very happy with the end result. What do you think?

Card Using Quilt Block Puzzler

When I saw this Quilt Block Puzzler file from LisaJane, I knew I wanted to use it as a background on my card.

Isn't it a cute file? I could also see using it as the background on a layout, or using just a few of the blocks as a border or maybe using the individual blocks as a backdrop for the letters of your title. So many possibilities!

Here is the card that I made with this file.

For the background paper, I used Ruche textured cardstock in Khaki (Paper Temptress). This has such a great texture. I love all the paper that Patricia carries over there. For the blocks I used two different My Mind's Eye patterned papers. Love the colors on these papers, don't you? The blocks were made from the file by FileKutz called Quilt Block Puzzler. The cut file had the dashed lines already and I just went over them with a black marker. The focal element on the card is a cupcake shaker. The background of the cupcake was embossed with the Spots & Dots folder and I used green and orange micro beads inside the shaker. I gave my cupcake a cute face using a Peachy Keen face stamp (Wide Eyed Kids) and added some red Stickles to the cherry. Finally I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from K Andrew.

Butterfly Square Card

Today I am sharing a card made with 2 wonderful files (Butterfly Vine Background and 3D Layered Butterfly Collection Set ) from Filekutz by LisaJane and lots of bling. It is a square card, which I tend not to make very often. Most of my cards start with a 5x7 card base, but sometimes it is nice to do something different. After I cut the background from blue cardstock and layed it over the beige card base, it felt a little plain. The beige color showing through the blue cutout just didn't pop enough for me, so I went and grabbed a bottle of Champagne Stickles and filled in the flourishes. Then I added a couple of rhinestone flowers (from Creative Charms) and some pink pearls for the butterfly. Lastly I used my black pen to make a trail for the butterfly.

Why do we call this a "Creative Design Team" Well, I'm the file Designer so you all would be "Creating" projects with my designs.

I am looking to add to my CT for the next 12 Months.. CT term will run for 1 year.
I will also be looking for Guest CT members. So please apply to be considered for a Guest position.
I'm looking for super crafty people that use cutter files, that love to post to forums, yahoo groups, on your blog. Any where else you like and willing to post on my CT blog.
And help me with new file ideas. If you need a file for some thing, Let me know. I'm always looking for new ideas.

Requirements for CT:
You will be required to post 1 projects Per month (cards, layouts, altered projects or any thing else using my files). You will get my file of your choice for free to use. You can ask for and do up to 4 projects a month. Its up to you. But at least 1 is required per month for requested files. And 1 project a month is required for your take on the FileKutz Challenge. You can view our blog http://filekutzdesignscdt.blogspot.com/ to see what the other ladies have been doing, to give you idea's of how our team works.
You are required to post your finished project using my files at least 2 places. One is Our CT blog http://filekutzdesignscdt.blogspot.com/ which I will give you access to upon your joining the team. And at least one other place you like to post, for ex your blog, but you can post to as many places as you like and where you like.
You are required to email me a finished picture (any size above 600x600 is fine) and a detailed description of what you did and used for your project before you can request a new file.
If you have a blog. I would like for you to post it there as well. And list my Store name, Title of file and file number used along with store link in your post. I can help you will any thing you need help with.

My Favorite Seaside Treasure

The smell of salt water, the sting of the year's first sunburn, kids wanting chips just to feed the seagulls...all things that remind me of our trip to the beach. I had a wonderful time but could not wait to get back home to scrapbook some of the great pictures that were taken.
LisaJane must have been thinking about my little man when she came up with the SEASIDE TREASURES file...okay, maybe that was just me when I saw the file and knew it had to be for "my favorite seaside treasure", my grandson, Caleb---gotta love that beach physique!!!
For this layout, I cut out the seashell border and placed it in between the strips of patterned paper. I also created the title from the file, cutting it out several times and gluing them together to make it look and feel like chipboard. I love everything you get in this file--several title options, the border plus that awesome shell flourish.....(see below for file contents and/or click on image to be taken to the store).

Warm Wishes Notecard

I haven't been scrapping in a while, but I've been doing quite a few notecards as we travel around as they are easier and don't require as much "stuff" to be dug out of the cabinets while we are traveling from place to place.

In honor of the recent time that we have spent on the beautiful beaches of Hatteras, North Carolina, I fell in love with this adorable little Beach Crab from the Sea Creatures Collection from FileKutz by LisaJane. I thought he was perfect to grace the front of a little note card. I wanted to mimic the warm sands and beautiful blue waters of the coast so I used a combination of textures on some cardstock to create a warm friendly card.

Warm Wishes NoteCard (General Friendship Card)

Supplies Used:

· 8 ½ x 11 cardstock – Cream - The Paper Company Mediterranean Fashion Colors – Card Base

· 4 x 5 ¼ Blue panel cardstock – Recollections Jewel collection

· 4 x 2 Tan Cardstock – The Paper Company Neutral collection

· Beach Crab from the Sea Creatures Collection cut file from Filekutz by LisaJane

· Versa Color ink – Royal Blue

· Fiskars clear stamps – Sentiments

· Clear stamp block

· Sizzix texture plate – Distressed

· Sizzix texture plate – Friend

· Mini Mister

· Metal decorative edge ruler

· Scissors

· Dimensional adhesive

· Adhesive

Step by Step Instructions:

1. Using Friend Sizzix texture plate, emboss the large blue panel with the Sizzix Big Shot Machine – spray with mini mister prior for a deeper embossed image.

2. Using Distressed texture plate, emboss the tan cardstock with the Sizzix Big Shot Machine – spray with mini mister prior for a deeper embossed image.

3. Tear tan cardstock diagonally using metal edge decorative edge ruler.

4. Adhere the card pieces in the following order:

· Blue embossed card panel

· Tan cardstock at top left and bottom right corners

· Crab base

· The following pieces are adhered using dimensional “pop” dots

* Round crab body

* Crab claws (these are right and left so fit them carefully)

* White eyeball with black pupil adhered normally to it

5. Stamp Warm Wishes sentiment in top left of tan cardstock with blue Versa Color ink

6. Use A2 envelope sized at 4 3/8 x 5 5/8

FLOWER FLOURISH ACCENT

Hi all Eve here with you today , i have a layout i would like to share with you using the flower flourish accent file ....You can purchase it HERE I have cut it out in plain white card stock and inked it with a variety of distress inks and then i have used Black Gold glimmer mist to give it a little sparkle ...and just to make it pop i dotted it with liquid pearls on the edges .I have also used the cutout file on the reverse side to do a little masking on the page before i turned it over to adhere it down ...
I have teamed it with some older kaiser paper range called ROUGH & TOUGH ...its a very versatile file to work with .

Easter Layout

Here is a 2-page Easter layout that I finished. The main element on the layout is a wonderful cutter file collection from FileKutz by LisaJane called Easter Train Collection (lkcol01).

This is a fabulous, very detailed file collection. It comes with all of the train cars and the 3 little animals. You can also get just the train by itself (lk00006), or the animals (chick, bear, and bunny) are available individually as well.

To embellish the train and its pieces, I used flock, Stickles, embossing folders, and pen details. After assembling the train pieces, I connected them together with some silver cording. I used some Easter ribbon from Hobby Lobby to cover the seam between my patterned paper and yellow Bazzill cardstock. The date is done with stickers (Provo Craft Alphabitties). Pen details were added to the animals' eyes and faces. The title was created in my KNK Studio GE software and I added yellow Stickles to it.

Here are a couple of closeups of the Easter Train.

I am really pleased with how this turned out. This was one of the more time consuming layouts I have created, but it was definitely worth it.

TIME for a New Challenge

Poets, songwriters and philosophers have all written, sung and lectured about TIME....the sweet rewards, the tragic loss of, the thief, the ravisher, the treasure, the pleasure. This weekend's challenge also revolves around TIME. LisaJane has created an absolute treasure of a file that includes clock faces, hands and numbers, even roman numerals. There are so many options in this file, you will be able to use it over and over and get a different look each time.

My challenge to you is to simply create a layout/card/project that includes this file AND the word "time" somewhere on your project. The way you decide to use the file is entirely up to you...use it as a background, an embellishment or part of a saying or title. Time may be used in any form on your layout also....borrow from a song, a saying, or by itself. (I am sure you can think of millions but just in case, you can find some "time" songs and sayings HERE and HERE .)

You will have the rest of the week and weekend to create your layout as the submission deadline will be May 23rd at 12:00pm EST and winners will be announced here on this blog soon after. A random winner will be chosen from the submissions to receive an additional free file of your choice from FILEKUTZ. **Please use the "add your link" button at the bottom of this post to link up your submitted project

For my layout, I kept hearing Cyndi Lauper's classic "Time after Time" running over and over in my head and I just love the unconditional meaning of the lyrics "If you fall, I will catch you" so I incorporated that into this layout about my son. I wanted to use the file as a background so I chose the hands and numerals I wanted to use, cut them out and then used Black Diamond stickles on them to give them a shiny finish like a metal clock would have.

Berry Sweet - Strawberry Flourish Vine File

A friend of my daughter has the cutest little girl and she is soo sweet........how sweet you ask...."berry sweet". I was lucky enough to be given this gorgeous picture of her and knew that I wanted to use the STRAWBERRY FLOURISH VINE file to create this layout.
I welded two of the vines together and used it as a background frame. I used Glossy Accents on the strawberries to give them a nice shiny finish and popdotted them to the vine along with adding the leaves.. Not only is the file perfect for those berry picking pictures but also for those "sweet as a berry" pictures. Thanks for looking! Sharon

I do have some tips for cutting files like this, with lots of small parts..

1. Make sure your blade is sharp or new.. I use a seperate blade for cutting like this that I swap out when I am done cuttin detailed cuts.

2. Turn your paper upside down and do a double cut, it gives smaller cut a much better cut and if you have a white core paper you won't see the white core cutting upside down. (Just make sure you flip your design, if needed)

3. If you have adjustable rollers on your machine move them to be on top of the paper, to hold in place better when doing a double cut.

4. Ungroup or Unweld the whole file (if it is large and has small parts inside) and cut the inside pieces before you cut the outside stroke/line. This will save you from cutting up your small parts and getting broking pieces on your finished background and small pieced files.

5. If your 1st cut don't come out well, inlarge the or outline the outside stroke just a little, then delete/remove the original outside stroke, then cut small pieces 1st, then cut the new outline you made.

6. Some machine's are just not cut out for cutting small pieces.. if this is the case with your machine and you can't cut a file of mine because of small pieces, email me and tell me about it, your issue and the machine/program you use, and I will see if I can redesign with a little larger pieces (I can usually do this in most cases).. as I have a few times before for a customer who uses a Silhoutte machine and has to cut smaller due to the max cutting of 11x8".

Easter Card

Here is an Easter card I made. I just love how it turned out.

Ingredients:

Patterned paper (either from DCWV or some other paper stack)
Bazzill cardstock
Mica/Metallic papers from PaperTemptress in several colors (for the flowers and stripes)
Bazzill In Stitch'z silly stitches template and French Vanilla floss
Easter Chick in Egg Shell cutter file from FileKutz by LisaJane
Yellow Flock
Self-Adhesive Pearls

Details:

I wanted my chick to look fluffy/fuzzy so I decided to coat him in yellow flock. I decorated the egg shell with the provided flowers and added some pearls to the centers. I cut extra flowers when I was decorating the egg and I thought the background paper could use something extra so I added some of the flowers and used a yellow gel pen for the centers. I pulled out my Bazzill In Stitch'z templates to give some extra detail to the blue cardstock piece.

Sunrise Flight

I wanted this layout to be very simple and to concentrate on the beautiful sunrise image. When I found LisaJane's Evergreen border, I knew that I had to use it to enhance this layout. I choose a single set of trees and cut them out in various colors and then placed them throughout the layout.

TECHNIQUE TIP: Using the same embellishments three times in this layout creates a visual triangle that helps move the readers eyes through the layout and pulls it all together. The natural fiber paper provides a great base for the trees and definitely mimics the rugged Alaskan coastline where this photo was shot.

Garden of Life

Sometimes all it takes is a phrase or saying that starts motivation for a layout and then adding a FILEKUTZ by LisaJane is sure to complete the inspiration. I have created this layout using Flourish Flower Frame lk00265....I love the gorgeous flourish and how you can layer the flowers from this file. The mat is very versatile and can be placed vertical (see file image) or horizontal (like my layout).

After cutting and layering the flowers from the file, I also added some Recollections tiny mulberry roses as centers and throughout the layout. I inked the silver Making Memories bling that I had a teal color and added some small bees and ladybugs to give it more of a "garden" feel. I then dug into my old fiber drawer and added some around the flowers and clouds to give it a "whispy" look. Tiny alphas spell out the saying "If Mothers Were Flowers in the Garden of Life, I Would Pick You".

EASTER CUP CAKE WRAPPERS

Hello everyone Eve here with another layout i have done using the easter eggs from a file at Filecutz ..you can view the file HERE ...I have only used the eggs from this set to create this layout , i had some easter egg foils left from last easter so i backed the cut out eggs with it to create some coloured eggs ..
supplies used are bo bunny pedal pushers paper and chipboard range .

Toolbox Birthday Card

I needed a birthday card for my Father-in-Law and LisaJane had the perfect file. I used her Father's Day or Birthday Card file (lk00098) which you can find HERE. I cut the tools out of a shiny silver cardstock so they really look like metal. The front of the toolbox is embossed with the Oriental Weave 5x7 embossing folder to give it some texture. My FIL is quite the handyman so I know he will appreciate the card.

I've been working feverishly to finish up my Bald Eagle scrapbook by the time we leave here in two weeks. It's been great fun, but I will be glad to get back to some different types of layouts and be able to start on our trip through Alaska last summer. The Bald Eagle scrapbook will contain 28 layouts.

SUPPLIES USED: K&Company Julianne patterned paper and mats, Kraft cardstock, Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink (Antique Linen, Weathered Wood), Judikins Treasure Cube and Textiles Cube stamp, DCWV Neutrals cardstock, Bazzill Basics Just the Edge, Stampin Up Notes and Details and Dot Dot Dot stamps, Eagle cut file by FileKutz by LisaJane, Smooch pearlized ink, Sketch by PageMaps 2 (page 104), Font: Evie's hand

TECHNIQUE TIP: I used four different borders by Bazzill on this page. Two of them started out being off white so I used my stamps and inks to colorize them and add more texture to the layout. Another one started out to be off white and I decided that a pale blue would give a bit more separation to the zig zag border so I sponged some of the Tim Holtz weathered wood ink onto it to recolor it. The bluish textured flowers also started off in plain off white and with my stamps, I blended them in with the theme of the layout.

Here is a closeup of the wonderful cut file from LisaJane at FileKutz. What a great way to finish off this layout.

Easter Egg Hunting File

Bunnies are cuddly, the large and the small,

But I like chocolate ones best of all!!

Hello all, this is Sharon and we have all noticed that Spring is popping up everywhere, from the small buds blooming to the songs that the birds are singing....many new beginnings....perfect time for my new beginning---my first post and layout as DT here. I was so excited to create a spring layout, to use a color that I hardly ever use (purple) but mostly to use this adorable svg file called EASTER EGG HUNTING w/RABBIT from FileKutz By LisaJane. I wanted to create this layout with the bunny faceless but as you can see at the file image below, the file does include an adorable face for it.

I started creating my layout by blending distress ink on the edges of the white cardstock, using the Fiskars Read Between the Vines punch on the purple cardstock, and added various easter papers and a cardstock mats. Then I got to work on cutting and creating with the file. I like to create depth so the fence was cut, crinkled and chalked with distress ink and then I cut the grass 6 times - inked, crinkled and assembled them into one piece. I cut out the bunny pieces and the basket pieces - finishing them up by chalking and assembling them also. I put together the finished pieces and added some flowers, ribbon and a poem. Now all I have to do is take that perfect picture on Easter to add to my layout...gotta love being a page ahead!! This was a fun file to play with and I know I will be using these pieces, like the fence, over again on other layouts.

TATTERED FLOWERS

Hi Eve here with you today LisaJane asked me to work on the tattered flowers file you can find it HERE and this is what i have managed to come up with .
I love this file as its got so many different petals to work with , just let your imagination run wild with this file and you can create some amazing flowers for your scrapping stash .
I have used kaiser papers and some added prima flowers to my layout and as always kindy glitz and liquid pearls im so hooked on liquid pearls at the moment .

Here is a sweet little layout by Ronnie S, The photo is of her new Grandson, Chase who was born, 1-11-11.

She used Sweet Baby file by FileKutz By LisaJane. The paper is from the DCWV kids stack, the border is from MS, the stickles are from Ranger, the inks used to ink edges are Momento inks, and Marvy Uchida Brush markers. The flowers are from Prima.

I choose to make my own title because we didn't actually pick the pumpkin, but the rest of the elements were just perfect to showcase these photos.

Ciao everyone, my name is Sharon and I have two beautiful grown daughters and an 8 yo son and a 5yo grandson who provide me constantly with chaos and laughter. I live in a log cabin by the water surrounded by woods in the beautiful state of Virginia where i can pretend to be miles away from civilization but in reality, I am close enough to multiple shopping centers in case the need to shop hits me (and it does often..HA). Other than my family, friends and shopping, I really love my coffee!! I will drink it throughout the day, every day and that will be the only bad habit I will admit to.

Hi everyone Eve Sheppard here with my very first post of my first layout for Filekutz

I wanted to share my first layout using one of LisaJane's files. I love the svg cuts that she creates and when I saw this wonderful leaf background, I knew it had an eagle layout in it!! Not only did I get this wonderful background, but I also now have some wonderful leaf and vine cutouts to use on another layout (stay tuned). Notice the adorable little vines in the corners, they are the "leftovers" from the cut. How great to be able to create multiple layouts from one cut file.

My Heart Belongs To You Piggy Valentine!!

I hope all is going well for all of you, in the beginning's of the New Year! I am just having a blast remaking these Valentine's I created last year, for my children to give to there Grandma, same as the Dino: I just used cardstock, chalk markers and

chalk.. This one also can be a done a little 3D, using pop dot's under the different

pieces to get the look!!

Also in the file there is a die cut of the Pig, so you can use him on the front of a card or on layouts. You can also change him a little to make Birthday cards or invite's.. just remove his wings and add a different object to his hands, for example.. a present die cut, or balloons... ect. Valentine's Day Dino Card

Wow! What a long month Dec, was for me.. And it finally coming to and end!! I have been busy designing and redesigning old files, so keep an eye out in the next month for loads of new files!!

My little guy is doing better, no ear tubs for now, so that was great news! Christmas was a blast, I took loads of pictures and am ready to do some serious scrapbooking this coming New Year!

Last year my boys each made a animal heart valentine to give to there Grandma, Here is 1 I have loaded to the store today!! Also included in the file is just a die cut of the dino, and regular eyes are also included.. incase you want to use the card as an invite or birthday card.

I used a chalk marker, chalk and cardstock to create this remake of the original cards.. but we had also used glitter, beads, pattern paper and embossing powder on the originals.. so many ways to create! Hope you enjoy using her/him!

Sharon is a very creative scrapper and shows of her work on her BLOG, it is very inspirational work.. so be sure to check it out. She has used her Cricut, SCAL1 and chalk/ink to create her layout. When Sharon emailed this Layout to me, I laughed so hard.. because I have about the same photo of my 3 year old in Our Rabbit's cage! So, as Sharon stated to me "Classic Photo"!! baby's 1st Christmas

I finally scrapped a layout of my son's first Christmas. At least I got it done before his second Christmas! LOL

To complete my layout, I used 3 fabulous cutter files from FileKutz by LisaJane. The bottom border is her Candy Cane Christmas Border (lk00027). I attached the bows in the center and folded them up to give a little dimension (at least until it goes in the scrapbook). The title is from Baby's 1st Christmas Bears (lk00103). I added Stickles to the Christmas lights to make them sparkle. The cute little guy in the center (besides my son) is from her Snowbabies First Christmas (lk00084). I added FlowerSoft to the hat to make it look fuzzy. I wrote his name using the pen tool and a file from Jan Bryson.

Cookies For Santa

Here is a layout using FileKutz By LisaJane's Files: Cookies for Santa and the flourish frame is from HOHO Santa's On The Go Page Kit.

Here is the recipe for the cookies:

White Chocolate, Cranberry, and Macadamia Nut Cookies

3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, room temperature
1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups dried cranberries (about 6 ounces)
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips (about 8 1/2 ounces)
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts (about 4 1/2 ounces)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl mix together the flour, soda and salt and set aside. Using electric mixer, beat butter in large bowl until fluffy. Add both sugars and beat until blended. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, then vanilla. Add dry ingredients and beat just until blended. Using spatula, stir in cranberries, white chocolate chips, and nuts.

Using a small ice cream scoop or a tablespoon drop circular mounds of cookie dough onto a cookie sheet and lightly press down (mine tended to be about 1½ tablespoons.) Bake cookies until just golden, about 15 minutes or a little more. These can be made ahead and frozen for a couple weeks. Best eaten within a couple days– store airtight at room temperature.

Santa's Reindeer Rudolph

I like to send out handmade Christmas cards every year. It takes quite a bit of time and Christmas is only about 2 months away. So it is time I get to work! Here is one of the cards I made for this holiday season. The glittery green cardstock was embossed with my Cuttlebug, using the Baubles & Bows embossing folder. I sanded the embossed areas and then colored the strings and bows with a gold pen. I also inked the edges of the green and red paper with a gold inkpad. The adorable little reindeer (lk00113) came from FileKutz by LisaJane, which you can find HERE. The file was super quick to piece together. I added some Paper Glaze to his hooves to make them shiny and some Ruby Slippers Stickles to his nose to make it sparkle. Rudolph's nose needs to shine, right? I think he turned out really cute.

Halloween Skeleton Card

This Halloween card features 2 files from FileKutz by LisaJane. On the front, I have used the individual skeleton from the Skeleton Border 12 inch file (lk00072), which you can find HERE. I found the background paper in my stash and just added a spider die cut. The Trick or Treat greeting was cut from vinyl. On the inside, I have used Halloween Suckers (lk00184) attached to some green grosgrain ribbon. You can find this file HERE. Again the sentiment is cut from vinyl.

Sneak Peak of My Halloween Book

Using my Bind-It-All and FileKutz By LisaJane Files

Well October is almost here!! And you all know how much I love Halloween.. I have already started my 2010 Halloween Book for my boys.. A few weeks ago I was really sick and my hubby went out and bought me a Bind-It-All... And I just love it.. So I wanted to show off some of my book, I wanted to have the pictures in My newsletter, but then my BIL was hit a killed by a car.. and I am still dealing with that, but I am trying to get back into scrapbooking to keep my mind off of Life Stressor's so I hope all of you like what I came up with so far.. I will show it completed with title's and pictures after Halloween!! So here are some of the pages and close-ups. You can find almost all of these design's I used in the VDBC store, and the other's will be added with in the next few weeks. I will also give the recipe of each 2 page layout when it is completed, so check back the 1st week of Nov to see the end results!!

The last pic is the front of the book, I am not done with it yet, but I wanted you to see the shape I designed and cut from my cutter using chipboard.. Now this was my 1st time using the Bind-It-All tool and I didn't glue my pattern paper to the chipboard before I cut it, so I messed up on the holing, it all worked out and i just covered my mistakes, but next time I will glue my pattern paper to the chipboard before I cut, so that is my tip for this project. Hope it inspires you!!

Also I will be holding a Challenge at VDBC for the October Anniversary Party starting on the 15th: "Show me what and how you use your Fav Crafting Tool" 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes... 10 files, 5 files and 1 file.. Your Choice from Filekutz Section. Winner drawn on Sunday the 17th (by Ginger). Email Choices by the following Friday (22nd) and prizes will be sent out accordingly. Beware of Black Cats

This file features several Halloween borders to use on your cards or scrapbook pages. I cut out a row of black cats and trimmed it down to fit my card. What a nice addition to a simple and quick Halloween card!

Trick or Treat Card

Here is a Halloween card I made using LisaJane's Halloween Spider Web Side Border (lk00183), which you can find HERE. I used several shades of orange ink to color the background. The spider webs were cut from grey cardstock and then glitter glue was applied. The Tick or Treat words were cut from Black Magic Core'dinations cardstock and then embossed and sanded (font used was Baby Kruffy).

Starfish Variations!

When I saw the starfish background file I knew that I wanted to have it and use it.

It's such a great file and cuts out so well.

I had to use it again on a card. And to show you how versatile the file is I split up the cutted file into smaller pieces.

The starfish are made with the cuttingfile from Filekutz by LisaJane

I choose to color this pretty new image Eva the Glam by Michelle Perkett Studio.

It's the first time that I colored a mermaid. And I have to say that is was a lot of fun.

I used copics to color her and the little dots are made with Liquid Pearls.

The flowers are from a haircomb that broke and I saved.

The embossed paper is a technique that I made and described HERE.

Who's Looking

Here is a layout I did of my son in his halloween costume last year, I used my new file Halloween Flourish Frame w/ eyeballs HERE I just removed the center, and I also used the ribbon flower I created using my Prima Flower Collection HERE!!

I distressed the edges with a distress tool, chalked the edges with Pebbles Chalk, used glitter glue on the Title and on the Eyeballs. And I used black frourish to make a frame around my picture.

Anniversary Card

Here is an anniversary card I made for my parents' upcoming 38th wedding anniversary. It uses pieces from LisaJane's In the Spirit file, recently given away in her newsletter. If you haven't signed up for the newsletter yet, you can do so here.

If you missed out on it, I'm sure it will be in the store soon. I used up some paper from by scrap pile to cut out most of the card. The Happy Anniversary sentiment is cut from white vinyl and I then applied green alcohol ink to it. I also added some yellow brads to the centers of the flowers.

3D Butterfly Card

Here is a card I made using one of LisaJane's butterflies from her 3D Layered Butterfly Collection Set (lk00101).

The body of the butterfly has been covered with brown flocking. I used some paper I found at Big Lots, Stampin' Up ribbon, Prima flowers with a rhinestone sticker for the center.

4th of July Page Kit

This scrapbook layout uses the Fourth of July Page Kit (lk00140) and 4th of July Bear (lk00138) from FileKutz by LisaJane.

The title was cut from white-core cardstock, embossed and then sanded. The firecracker flames, the stars on the corner accents, the handle of the wand and the crown all have glitter glue.

I added some pen stitching with a silver gel pen around the red star mat. These files were just perfect to scrap this holiday.

Flower and Butterflies Everywhere

So this week me and my CT wanted to show you how you can make and decorate the FileKutz Butterfly Collection and Flower collection. And this week only, they will be on sale from Aug 1st to the 7th. You can find the butterfly collection HERE and the flower collection HERE. These are only a few of the style's you can make with these two files, there are many more and more combination's.

We have used, stickles, liquid pearls and glossy accents, embossing, glitter glue, inks, flocking, flowersoft, microbeads, brads, metallic paper and ribbon. Hope you enjoy looking at the ladies work.. they did a great job!

She also used brads, cat's eye chalk, distresser, stickles and buttons on her flowers.

Next We have Kelly's

Kelly's Butterflies:
1. The top layer of the purple butterfly is coated with microbeads and I added pen stitching around the body.
2. The orange butterfly has an outline of Stickles on the bottom layer and the other 2 layers are embossed and inked. The body has been coated with Stickles.
3. The middle pink butterfly has been coated with Flower Soft on its top layer.
4. The orange butterfly has brown flocking on the body.
5. The last butterfly has pen stitching on the bottom layer, the top layer has been embossed and inked, and the body is covered with Stickles..

Flowers:

1. The blue flower has an outline of Stickles on the bottom layer and the top layer is covered with Flower Soft.
2. The top layer of the rose is coated with microbeads.
3. The pink flower uses patterned paper for the bottom layer, the middle layer is covered with Stickles, the top layer is embossed and more Stickles were added to the raised dots. I finished it off with an oversized brad in the center.
4. The purple flower has pen stitching on the bottom layer, the middle and top layers were embossed and I inked the raised portions.
5. The last flower has brown flocking on the top layer and an oversized brad in the center.

And then I also did some flowers.. I wanted to do butterflies to but I could not find the time! I have been very busy this week and preparing for company, the newletters, football practice, vacation bible school and MUCH MUCH more.. but my CT did a great job with there's so I Greatly appricate that they could do this for me! Thank you Ladies!!

Wow... A new Cutting File here!

I'm just back from a wonderful vacation in the middle of France.

Yes you read it right... FRANCE...

AAhhhhh..; J'adore cette pays!!!

yes I speak a some French as well.

there was a time when I was exceptionelle well in the French language.

But nowadays it's a bit rusty.... LOL

And to be honest this wonderful Digital Stamp is so resambling of where I was sitting during my vacation. I love to sit in a chair, watch people play in the sand and water and reading a good book.

I took a big big pile of books with me and so did the kids.

But no longer talking about me and my vacation...

Here is a Super Cute layout I did of a picture I took at the Florida Aquarium.. I used a pair of scallop scissors to decorate the edge of the photo mat, I used pebbles chalk, Sulyn Glitter glue, a scallop template for the edge, ribbon, prima flowers and puffy paint to create my layout. I used my newest file added to the store Sea Creatures Background Mesh Jumble.

Starfish Background

Here is another background from Filekutz by LisaJane. She originally made it using Make the Cut (MTC) software and asked me to test cut it since I have MTC also.

I used MTC to make a mat for the starfish too. I love it with the two tones of browns. I also used my new Xyron 500 machine to apply the adhesive to the background. I chose it over the Xyron 510 Creative Station since I really do not think that I would ever laminate or add a magnet to anything. It saved me $15 plus I do not have to pay for the extra cartridges.

Ok so I have had a lot of time on my hands since my hubby has been off work this week, and I have been using that to my advantage LOL! I have created a few new files this week and will keep working while I can!! But here is a 1 Page Layout I did using most of my new Flourish Page Kit 2. These are kits are all cuttable designed to save you money, without giving up that fab look!! So I used many things here, Sulyn Glitter glue (which Krystal did a tutorial on and I had to buy 11 bottles of it!! Thanks Krystal LOL!!) you can see it HERE

I also used Tim Holtz Ditressing Ink, part of my Sunday Newspaper, Pebbles chalk, Glitter paper, Metallic Paper for the flowers and metallic makers (to fill in the circles), ribbon and a DA Flourish Tree Design which I traced and cut. There are many other flowers and butterflies in my Flower collection and Butterfly collection but these are just a few for this page kit. 50's Birthday Card

This card I specially made on request of a good friend who needed a card to send to a friend that got her 50th birthday. So I wanted to make it a special one.

The background is the Flower Mesh Jumble Background with the number: LK00053 and

can be found HERE

I cut out the file and colored it with the distress inks by Tim Holz and I also cut out the number 50 and the notes. The Mic is a digital stamp by and I think it goes so well with this background

It's makes them swing together in a happy birthday song!

Playin With Flourish

I decided to make a card for another design team that I am on along with using a cutting file from Filekutz by LisaJane.

Double Heart Flourish Frame

Here is the anniversary card I made for my husband this year. It uses the Double Heart Flourish Frame from FileKutz by LisaJane, which you can find here: LK00002. I used a black cardstock for the base and added some silver border stickers.

The double heart flourish is cut from a pearlescent red paper and I added some rhinestone stickers to the ends of the flourishes. The sentiment is cut from silver vinyl. The card was a hit with the hubby.

Flower Circle Mesh Jumble

I just love these backgrounds on my cards! They help make quick and easy cards after they are cut out. All you have to do is add a sentiment and you are done!

The original file size was 6"x6" and I shrunk it to 4"x5-1/4" for a card front without much distortion. The circles are more oval now but I did not have any problem cutting it. Then I added a shadow to it so that I could mat the background onto something. I love this color on the black! I think it looks really sharp!

Harley Bears

My hubby and I went to the Harley Davidson factory tour in York, PA last year. I was really cool! We got to see the motorcylces being assembled right on the factory line. We each took a picture on our favorite motorcycle that were on display.

I made this layout using Harley "Tear Bear" and Tanny "Tear Bear" from FileKutz by LisaJane. You can find them in the store HERE: lk00016 and lk00017. The title and the symbol are from the pamphlet that I saved from the place.

Pirate Ship Card

I made this card using the newest file from FileKutz by LisaJane, Pirate Ship Card. You can find it in the store HERE: lk00064. I used a textured black cardstock for the base. The accent pieces were cut from white cardstock and I added stitching with a black marker. I also added stitching around the port holes using a white pen. Finally, I added rhinestone stickers to the skull to look like jewels.

Here is a layout I did of some of my spring flowers. I used Butterfly Flourish Background Mesh Jumble 1 from FileKutz by LisaJane.

You can find it in the store HERE: lk00039. You can use it as a page background at 12 x 12, or I have used it as a photo mat, cut at ~ 8" x 8" from lavender vinyl. It cuts beautifully. The title and floral border are from Ginny's Happy Cuts.

Just Like Dad

Just like Dad layout with Filekutz border.

For several weeks I'm missing my mojo for scrapping. Somehow is making cards and scrapping to different kind of Mojo's. I wonder if I'm to only one that has to deal with that... And since I have an assignment for making an album for a lovely couple that is going to be wed in September I have to work on it.

But I don't know the couple.. so getting into my feelings and let them make the work I have to rely on just my crafting. Does that make sense to you?
