Willow

This lovely lady is called WILLOW, Autumn fairy By Marion E, This is the last card Marion E has done for FileKutz, I am sorry to have her leaving the team, but an understandable that life and family come 1st, Thank you Marion for sharing this Card! And you are Welcome Back Anytime!!

The little leave under the image are from a wonderful cutting file that is from

Filekutz By LisaJane! It's called Fall Leave Background. lk00160.

She used the leaves and added them with little popdots to give a 3D look.

Thank you Marion, and we will miss you!!

Starfish Variations!

When I saw the starfish background file I knew that I wanted to have it and use it.
It's such a great file and cuts out so well.
I had to use it again on a card. And to show you how versatile the file is I split up the cutted file into smaller pieces.

The starfish are made with the cuttingfile from Filekutz by LisaJane
and can be found here Starfish lk 000137.

I choose to color this pretty new image Eva the Glam by Michelle Perkett Studio.
It's the first time that I colored a mermaid. And I have to say that is was a lot of fun.

I used copics to color her and the little dots are made with Liquid Pearls.
The flowers are from a haircomb that broke and I saved.
The embossed paper is a technique that I made and described HERE.

I hope to meet see your cards at the challengeblog.
Thanks for coming by and leaving me a lovely comment!

Starfish Background

Here is another background from Filekutz by LisaJane. She originally made it using Make the Cut (MTC) software and asked me to test cut it since I have MTC also.

I used MTC to make a mat for the starfish too. I love it with the two tones of browns. I also used my new Xyron 500 machine to apply the adhesive to the background. I chose it over the Xyron 510 Creative Station since I really do not think that I would ever laminate or add a magnet to anything. It saved me $15 plus I do not have to pay for the extra cartridges.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink - Giga Guide Lines (Sentiment)
Paper: PTI White, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Close to Cocoa

50's Birthday Card

This card I specially made on request of a good friend who needed a card to send to a friend that got her 50th birthday. So I wanted to make it a special one.
The background is the Flower Mesh Jumble Background with the number: LK00053 and
can be found HERE

I cut out the file and colored it with the distress inks by Tim Holz and I also cut out the number 50 and the notes. The Mic is a digital stamp by and I think it goes so well with this background
It's makes them swing together in a happy birthday song!

Flower Circle Mesh Jumble

I just love these backgrounds on my cards! They help make quick and easy cards after they are cut out. All you have to do is add a sentiment and you are done!

The original file size was 6"x6" and I shrunk it to 4"x5-1/4" for a card front without much distortion. The circles are more oval now but I did not have any problem cutting it. Then I added a shadow to it so that I could mat the background onto something. I love this color on the black! I think it looks really sharp!

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink - Big & Bold Wishes
Paper: PTI White, PTI Hawaiian Shores, Basic Black
Ink: PTI Hawaiian Shores, Archival Jet Black
Accessories: Cricut, Filekutz by LisaJane - Circle Flower Mesh Jumble Background 1 (SKU# lk00040)

Marvelous Monday

Another Marvelous Monday

Using FileKutz Design Background's as Stencils

Although the month May is giving me that fabulous spring feeling and the knowlegde that summer is on it's way it still can have it's rainy and cloudy days sometimes.  I just love this one. The umbrella with mayflowers,  and if you turn it above your head it will be raining flowers all day and you would have a perfect day.

And strolling through the store of Filekutz by LisaJane I found this wonderfull file with a flower mesh juble background and border you can find it Here.

And I love it. This file is so easy to resize and use. It cuts out nice and clean and since the TTT challenge is running with a white background and no other papers I decided to use the flower background from FileKutz as a stencil and with the colors victorian velvet and fired brick by Tim Holz I stamped this background.

Card Recipe:

Background file and swirl: FileKutz by LisaJane

Colored with copics

Sentiment: Whiff of Joy

Flowers: Prima marketing

Ink: Victorian Velvet and fired brick by Tim Holz

Little Baby Boy

Hello Everyone,

I would like to present my First design for FileKutz by LisaJane. I just love her designs. Her creations are so joyful and great. And the other great part is that you can resize them so easily and adjust them to any project you want to use them for. This is the first time I worked with a file from FileKutz Design's Shop and I have to say they cut out so fine. Just in one time they come out of the paper. And that is a superb Job. I had some bad experiences with other files. But these come out so nice and clean. A true joy to work with.

Last night I got an email from my friend asking me to make a special card for her. Her friend got a little baby boy and she would love a card made by me to give. So what a great opportunity to use this file from FileKutz. If you go the Filekutz Blog and join us as a member you can get this file for free.
Update** This file is no longer avaiable for free**

So make sure you get there while this offer still is running.
Hope you like what I made with it and feel inspired by it.
